Web banners— Oxygen London online marketplace for designer clothes
This Project was commissioned through Virtual Tailor to create select banner graphics, as well as to make some minor fixes and to ‘clean up’ the business owner’s logo. Virtual Tailor worked on the website redesign and the online marketplace, I created eye-catching banners and reformatted shop items for Oxygen London. I used the collections own colours of mainly black to make them stand out and align with the rest of the site’s motifs. The client also wanted black and white only to match the collection, so to make the banners stand out I opted for very subtle gradients of grey to keep it modern looking.
The logo was already made by the business owner herself. I centred the text to make it better aligned and added the small corner marks to emphasise the bespoke and custom fashion.
The site itself was very minimalist which again fitted with the mainly black and white colours of the shop items. I opted for red for the black Friday banner as I was specifically briefed to use some colour to make this post stand out and to make customers click. The general banners I were simple looking opting for typography over colour, one font very clean and simple and the other big bold and to stand out from the crowd, again upholding the business ideals.
Overall this was a very simple project, but again demonstrates adaptability and skills in clean but effective designs.
